OK the DEMO page is working to its fullest or at least it should be working. The Wordpress editor is a quirky little thing. Anyway the Demo page now has a the small video play for you on the site instead of having to download it. But you can still download the bigger and easier to see demo there as well.
But to save you time here’s the small Demo:
The demo page is uploaded properly now. Next up getting the small video to appear on the page itself so you don’t have to download it. Then again it is only 16 MB I’m sure that not too long of a download.
It just for some reason the site page won’t update the demo page. but here is a link to the small version.

So I have a video that is about 58 MB if you’d like to download the level. It is big but it show what the level looks like so far.
thanks for patience on the download. the video is crude but it gives an idea of what the level is like.

Here are some quick pics of the level. The walls are functioning and the outer wall textures are up. I hope to get a short video up to see the walls in action. Next after this is models and a better texture for the moving walls.

Well the good news is The walls are working properly. After reading most of the trigger information in the Mastering Unreal Technology book, I had an idea of how to do it, but since the book didn’t give definitions of what i had questions on I did crossed into the deadly swirling vortex of time wasting known as the internet. This journey led me UnrealWiki where I printed out all 10 pages about the different mover abilities and began to read to see if it could help. I didn’t need to read all those pages because someone had a tutorial that was the solution.
Though I am proud to say I was heading in the same direction as the tutorial. Which makes me feel good I ‘m thinking in the right manner.
You can download the test level to see the pop up wall test here. The file is only 342 KB all you need is Unreal 2k4 and it should work. Just right click and ‘Save As…’

Yep, that’s right a new setup for the site. This will make it easier since my Level Design Blog is combined with the Portfolio site. The site has some tweaks that need to be fixed, so the look may change some more.
EDIT: The site is all fixed up. Everything should be working right. Hope everyone likes the change.
